Q: Do you accept unsolicited manuscripts?

A: Absolutely. All accepted manuscripts go through a full editorial process, including developmental editing, copyediting, and proofreading.

A: Yes. We involve authors in the creative process and value your vision, though final design decisions rest with our design team.

Q: How long does the publishing process take?
A: The typical timeline from contract to publication is 9–12 months, depending on the editing schedule and production queue.

Royalties & Rights

Q: Do you offer advances?
A: We do not offer advances at this time. However, we provide competitive royalties and extensive support for marketing and distribution.

Q: Do I retain the rights to my book?
A: We acquire specific rights necessary to publish, distribute, and market your book. All rights and terms are clearly outlined in our author agreement.

Q: How are royalties paid?
A: Royalties are paid quarterly based on net sales. Full details are outlined in your author contract.

Distribution & Availability

Q: Where will my book be available?
A: We distribute through National Book Network (NBN) (bookstores across the U.S. and Canada), EBSCO (eBooks to libraries), Tantor Media (audiobooks to libraries), and Draft2Digital (eBook retailers). Books are also available via Amazon and other major online platforms.

Q: Will my book be available to libraries?
A: Yes. We work with EBSCO to distribute eBooks to public and academic libraries, and with Tantor Media for audiobook distribution.

Marketing & Promotion

Q: What kind of marketing support do you provide?
A: We offer comprehensive marketing support including national bookstore representation through SBN sales reps, targeted email campaigns, social media promotion, blog features, press releases, and author events. We also encourage author involvement to maximize reach and engagement.

Q: Will I be expected to market my own book?
A: Yes. While we offer strong marketing support, we believe the most successful campaigns are collaborative. Authors are expected to participate in outreach, events, and social media promotion.
